Woman arrested after Glynn County police say she beat roommate with baseball bat

BRUNSWICK, Ga. — A woman was taken to jail Saturday after police said she beat her roommate with a baseball bat. Glynn County police said they were called to Walker Point Way in Brunswick in response to two women arguing.

Officers arrived and found the victim with a broken nose, a Glynn County Police Department news release states. She was taken to the hospital and treated for her injuries.

Her roommate, Eliza Vogt, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Police said Vogt used a baseball bat to harm her roommate, the news release states.
