WATCH: NTSB briefing on its investigation into plane, helicopter crash in DC

WASHINGTON — The National Transportation Safety Board gave a briefing Thursday afternoon about its investigation into the midair collision between an American Airlines plane and a Blackhawk helicopter that happened near Reagan National Airport on Wednesday night.

Sixty-seven people are believed to be dead.

Former Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown, who is now the vice chair of NTSB, was present at the news conference.
