JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Fleming Island Golden Eagles are the champs!
The boys’ basketball team held the lead in the final seconds to beat Jackson 55-54 in the Championship game of the Fortegra High School 9:12 Invitational on the Action Sports Jax 24/7 Network. The three-day event was held on the campus of FSCJ.

It was the seventh edition of the prestigious boys’ basketball event and it was the first time Fleming Island won the tournament. The Golden Eagles were led by tournament MVP Carson Crawford. The sophomore scored 30 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in the win.
The third-place game was won by University Christian as they beat Creekside 47-42.
There were 12 games from the event, and 10 games were broadcast on the new Action Sports Jax 24/7 Network.
