Theft suspect sought by Jacksonville police

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is looking for a person they said stole nearly $1,000 of merchandise from a business in the Chimney Lakes neighborhood. Police posted a picture of the suspect on social media Sunday saying he walked out of the business with $950 worth of stolen merchandise in a duffle bag.

Police are asking that anyone who recognizes the person in the picture to call JSO’s non emergency number at 904-630-0500 or First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
