NEW ORLEANS — The 2025 Sugar Bowl between Georgia and Notre Dame has been postponed after a deadly attack on Bourbon Street.

42-year-old Shamsud-Din Bahar Jabbar drove into a crowd and killed at least ten people. At least 35 others were injured.

According to CBS Sports, the game is now scheduled for Thursday.
Action News Jax’s Atlanta sister station WSB-TV reported that the University of Georgia Athletic Association said all team members and personnel who traveled with the football program are safe.
