ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The Main Branch location of the St Johns County Public Library System (SJCPLS) is scheduled to close for rooftop renovations starting next week.

The SJCPLS confirmed on Facebook that the main branch location is scheduled to close on Monday, February 3 for a rooftop replacement.
The project is scheduled to span approximately two months with the hopes of reopening in late March.
Below is a breakdown of how the closure will affect the library:
Service Accommodations:
- Library patrons who continue using library services are encouraged to utilize nearby locations, such as the Anastasia Island or Southeast branch.
- Temporary ‘bookmobiles’ will stop at the Main Branch to return items as well as pick up holds. Click HERE to learn more about the stops.

AARP Tax Preparation Assistance:
- AARP Tax Preparation Assistance will not be offered at the Main Branch this tax season. The SJCPLS encourages patrons to utilize the Solomon Calhoun Community Center for appointments for assistance.
