ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Johns Sheriff’s Office (SJSO) and Fire Marshalls are actively investigating a house fire where a deceased body was found.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., SJSO and the St. Johns Fire Rescue responded to a residential fire on Coral Circle on Anastasia Island.
First responders discovered a deceased body inside the residence shortly after extinguishing the flames.
SJSO states that after a preliminary investigation from the SJSO Major Crimes Unit Detectives, no foul play is currently suspected. The official cause of death is yet to be determined.
