Shad Khan climbs the Forbes list of America’s richest people

Jacksonville, Fla. — Jacksonville Jaguars owner, Shad Khan, comes in at No. 55 this year on the Forbes 400 List of Richest Americans.

That’s up from No. 72 last year.

The magazine lists Khan’s net worth at $11.2 billion, which ranks him 313th on the Forbes billionaires list.


Khan, 72, made his fortune as the owner of an auto parts company called Flex-N-Gate.

He bought the Jaguars in 2012.

Topping the list is Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, with a net worth of $251 billion.

Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, comes in at No. 2 with $151 billion.

Bill Gates rounds out the top three at $106 billion.

As a whole, Forbes reports this year’s list of top earners are $500 billion less wealthy than they were last year, citing rising inflation and falling markets.
