PALATKA, Fla. — A portion of St. Johns Avenue is scheduled to temporarily close Tuesday due to nearby construction.
Beginning on February 11th at 8 a.m., the 700 block of St. Johns Avenue will be inaccessible to drivers and walkers.

The city of Palatka says a large crane will be on the road during that time to do work on a business there.
St. Johns Avenue will reopen to traffic at noon.
Palatka Police Officers will be on-site during the closure to assist people who live in the area. All drivers and pedestrians should plan alternate routes or follow posted detour signs.
