ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — A Palm Coast woman was in jail Thursday charged with Lewd and Lascivious Battery for what detectives said she did to a 13-year-old boy. Angel Sexton, 26, was arrested Monday in St. Augustine, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim was visiting with Sexton during the December holidays, a Flagler County Sheriff’s Office news release states. Authorities received a report in January for an alleged sex offense involving Sexton and the victim, the news release states.
“Sexton had used her relationship to take advantage of the victim, engaging in activity that included kissing ... intercourse,” the news release states.
After the victim returned home in January, Sexton maintained contact through text messages on numerous occasions over a period of several weeks, including telling the victim that she intended to leave her husband for him, the news release states.

“Sexton was located in St. Augustine on Monday and was arrested on her warrant by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office. She was transferred to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where she is being held on a $25,000 bond,” the news release states.
