JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One person is dead and another is seriously injured after a car crash in Avondale Wednesday night.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a Honda sedan and a Honda SUV collided at the intersection of Blanding Boulevard and Park Street.
A woman in her mid-40s was taken to the hospital. A man in his 30s was pronounced dead on the scene.
JSO said this is the 73rd traffic fatality in Duval County this year.

JFRD stated on social media that drivers should expect delays in the area.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is expected to provide an update.
