JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 76-year-old man got the chance to reunite with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office chief who saved his life in December.

According to a social media post, Dr. Robert Brown went into cardiac arrest during a meeting at Aspiring Church. He didn’t have a pulse or heartbeat.
Chief of Patrol Support Jaime Eason was in San Marco Square at the time. Meeting attendees called 911 and flagged down Eason.
She was able to perform CPR and use an AED to bring back Brown.

Days after his near-death experience, Eason celebrated his 52nd wedding anniversary.
A month later, Eason and Brown were both surprised by a reunion JSO organized.
“I still have life in my eyes,” Brown told Eason in a JSO video.
“I can see that,” Eason replied.
