JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman in her 40s was found dead inside an apartment on Arlington Expressway on Thursday.
According to JSO, officers responded to a call about a domestic dispute around noon.

A woman was found unresponsive inside of an apartment. She was later pronounced dead.
JSO said the suspect was at the apartment, and he is in custody.

The relationship between the victim and suspect and the situation leading up to the incident is unknown.
Officials would not describe the woman’s injuries but said there was” violence committed toward her.”
JSO suspects foul play.
