JSO: Man shot while standing in his front yard

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man was taken to the hospital Wednesday night after he was shot while standing in his front yard. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was called to the 1700 block of West 19th Street at about 9 p.m. in reference to an adult male shot, a JSO new release states.

Officers arrived and found the victim with gunshot wounds to his arm and buttocks. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the news release states.
