2 men were injured as part of a drive-by shooting that happened earlier on Thursday, December 26.

JSO responded to the 1300 block of West 16th Street at approximately 4:00 p.m. in response to the men being shot.
JSO states that the initial investigation revealed the victims were standing outside of their vehicle when an unknown suspect approached them in a red sedan and fired multiple shots in their direction.
One of the victims was struck in the leg and the other was struck in the back, arm, and leg. The suspect then fled the area. Both males were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
JSO states that this appears to be an isolated event where the victims were targeted.
