JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — There may be impacts to San Jose Boulevard traffic as JEA begins to replace a water main.
The replacement starts on Feb. 10. JEA expects it to take three months.

This comes after an emergency repair of a water main break in July 2024.
According to a news release, JEA determined a full replacement of the pipe was needed.
One traffic lane in each direction on San Jose Boulevard may be temporarily closed at times between I-295 and Ricky Road during construction.

One northbound lane will be closed from 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. One southbound lane will be closed from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.
The median and turn lanes within the work zone will be closed for the duration of the project.
Extended or weekend work hours will be required to expedite the project.
Speed limits in the area will be reduced to 35 mph.
