Jaguars LT Cam Robinson facing performance enhancing drug suspension

Jacksonville, Fl — Hours before the first round of the NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars face a new challenge as left tackle Cam Robinson is expected to be suspended for performance enhancing drug use.

Action Sports Jax Brent Martineau confirmed the development that was first reported by Sports Illustrated.

The Jaguars hold the 24th overall pick in the opening round.

A suspension would leave the Jaguars without the left tackle who has started 75 games. Robinson was drafted by Jacksonville in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He missed the final three game of last season after an injury to his right knee.

Martineau reports the suspension is particularly troubling for the Jaguars, who lost right tackle Jawaan Taylor to Kansas City.

Robinson was signed to a three-year, $52.75 million contract last offseason.
