Hubbard House plans annual Stand Up & Stride Domestic Violence Awareness Walk

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The non-profit Hubbard House announced it will be holding its 16th annual Stand Up & Stride Domestic Violence Awareness Walk on Saturday, March 29th.

Around 1500 people are expected to attend the free event, which works to raise awareness about domestic violence and introduce survivors to helpful resources.

Walkers will meet at 8 A.M. at the former Duval County Courthouse at 330 E. Bay St., Jacksonville, FL. before beginning the trek across the Main Street Bridge.

The walk begins at 9 A.M. and runs through noon.

Hubbard House is a certified domestic violence center providing free emergency shelter, housing help, and counseling in Duval and Baker counties.
