ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A family of potato farmers in St. Johns County will be featured in an upcoming Superbowl LIX commercial produced by Frito-Lay.

Titled “The Little Farmer” and directed by Academy Award winner Taika Waitit, the commercial aims to honor potato farmers throughout the county with the tagline “Lay’s are made from real potatoes, and our potatoes come from real farmers.”
The commercial features a photo of 5-year-old DeLee Parker at her family’s farm, Parker Produce. The photo transitions to a collage of various photos featuring her and her family, as well as other farming families from St. Johns County.
“Our family is happy and honored to be chosen by Frito-Lay to be in this commercial,” said Jeffrey Parker. “Our farm has contracted with them to provide quality potatoes since 1964. Our family has been farming in St. Johns County since 1937. We are proud 4th generation farmers, and DeLee will carry on that tradition.”
