Green Cove Springs curbside recycling pickup to end Friday

GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. — The City of Green Cove Springs is ending its curbside recycling program.

The last day for pickup is Friday, September 26.

The program will officially close on Monday, September 29.

For those who wish to continue recycling, clean and flat corrugated cardboard will still be accepted through drop-off at the following locations, according to the city.

  • Clay Hill Environmental Convenience Center, Middleburg
  • Doctor’s Inlet Environmental Convenience Center, Middleburg
  • Keystone Heights Environmental Convenience Center, Keystone Heights
  • Long Bay Environmental Convenience Center, Middleburg
  • Rosemary Hill Solid Waste Management Facility, Green Cove Springs
  • Challenge Enterprises Residential Shred Program, Green Cove Springs (Also recycles other paper products; form needed)

City residents do not have to return their recycling bins. If you wish to get rid of yours, you can bring it to the Public Works Administration Building on Gum Street for disposal.
