After Cobb was interviewed by detectives, he was booked into the Duval County Jail, JSO said.

During his time at the University of South Carolina, Cobb and another player were arrested in March 2016.

Police said in that incident, Cobb used a BB gun to shoot at a car with a man inside. The person in the vehicle was not injured, but the car suffered damage, WACH-TV reported.

In August 2016, Cobb and the other player were dismissed from the team, WIS-TV reported.

He played 15 games for UConn. In January 2018, he was suspended “for conduct detrimental to the team.”
