JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The First Alert Weather Team says that the highest wind gusts today have topped 20-30 mph across Northeast Florida.

Notes from The First Alert Weather Team:

  • Clouds and winds have increased this evening
  • Tonight will be chilly but not as cold as last night
  • Keep an eye out for some shower activity near the coast during the morning commute
  • The best chance for rain will be along & east of I-95
  • Showers should pivot up toward the coast of SE GA by midday
  • Most spots stay dry
  • The forecast for the holidays has trended drier and cooler
  • Christmas Eve, Day, and Boxing Day dry but a touch cool
  • Better chances for rain move in Friday & then with a cold front on Sunday
  • Onshore winds will be with us all week
  • We’ll have breezy & rough weather at the beaches most of the week
