JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The First Alert Weather Team says it’s going to be a wet weekend.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Chilly tonight with some patchy light frost near/west of I-95 as temperatures dip into the 30s.
  • A nice Friday under partly sunny skies with afternoon temperatures in the mid-60s.
  • Clouds move in by Saturday with showers developing in the afternoon. Then you can expect rain steadier and heavier Saturday night into Sunday morning.  Much colder air follows this weather system Sunday afternoon into early next week.
  • Martin Luther King Day will be very cold under partly sunny skies with highs only in the mid-40s with wind chills in the 30s.
