Notes from The First Alert Weather Team:
- Saturday will be very mild as temps. reach the mid-60s to low 70s under cloudy skies. Rain will move into Southeast Ga. by noon continuing through the afternoon while rain for the I-10 corridor in Northeast Fl. & metro Jacksonville will likely hold off until mid to late afternoon with only a few widely scattered showers south of Jacksonville.
- Periods of rain, possibly a rumble of thunder for Saturday night into Sunday morning will gradually diminish from northwest to southeast through Sunday afternoon. Everyone will get rain at one time or another over the weekend with amounts averaging 1-2”, locally 3”+.
- Colder air filters into the areas Sunday afternoon as morning temps. in the 60s fall into the 50s in the afternoon.
- Bitterly cold air by early Monday with temps. in the upper 20s to low 30s but wind chills of 15-25 degrees. Roads will at least be dry. Martiin Luther King day will be mostly sunny but cold as temps. top out in the lower 40s but with lower wind chills.
- There is at least some risk for a combination of rain, freezing rain, sleet & snow late Tue., Tue. night into early Wed. More details to be ironed out in the coming days.

- SATURDAY: Cloudy morning then rain increasing in the afternoon – especially SE Ga. & near/north of I-10 NE Fl. High: 69
- SATURDAY NIGHT: Rain, a rumble of thunder – heavy rain at times. Low: 56
- SUNDAY: Morning rain diminishing northwest to southeast from late morning into the afternoon. High: 64… falling into the 50s in the afternoon.

- TUESDAY: Becoming cloudy with a few showers, possibly mixed with some light sleet. 32/44
