JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Golden Glades neighborhood near Suni Pines Drive and Nashua Drive had heavy police and SWAT presence on Sunday. Neighbors told Action News Jax that they waited for hours to get back into their homes.
Action News Jax has learned that officers were dispatched to the scene to serve a search warrant in a robbery investigation. Due to the possibility of violence, the SWAT team was called in.
However, no one was inside the home. The SWAT team has left the scene but detectives are conducting an investigation.
The neighborhood is expected to open back up shortly.
