House Bill 733 DCPS will have to change school start times to comply with a new law.

Duval County Public Schools must change school start times by the 2026-27 school year to comply with a Florida law, and the district wants public input.

House Bill 733 will require the instructional day to start no earlier than 8 a.m. for middle school students and no earlier than 8:30 a.m. for high school students.
