Convicted former JEA CEO Aaron Zahn to report to federal prison

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Former JEA CEO Aaron Zahn is scheduled to report to federal prison by the end of Monday.

Zahn was found guilty by a jury in Mar. 2023 on conspiracy and wire fraud charges. He was sentenced to 48 months in prison.

Prosecutors say he tried to make millions off selling the utility in 2019.

He filed an appeal in August.

Former JEA CFO Ryan Wannemacher, Zahn’s co-defendant in the trial, was found not guilty.
