JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Blood donation centers say they urgently need donations after the winter storm.

Planned blood drives in Georgia, Alabama, and Louisiana were cancelled because of the Arctic blast.
According to LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, the storm caused hundreds of blood donations to be lost.
