3 dozen people, many of them already in prison, accused in South GA drug trafficking operation

Many of the defendants are accused of directing the operation from inside Georgia state prisons using contraband cell phones. Both state and local law enforcement agencies were involved in the investigation, including the Waycross Police Department and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
