Chandler Morgan is an Emmy Award–winning weekday morning anchor for Action News Jax. She joined the news team in 2021 and loves calling Jacksonville home. Since joining the team, Chandler has become involved in several community organizations including Make-A-Wish, The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, and Pink Ribbon Jax. She was voted Best TV Anchor in 2023 by readers of Folio Weekly’s Best of Jax Awards. If you spot a new restaurant around town, let Chandler know — she just might feature it in her Around Jax segment. Previously, Chandler was an anchor and reporter in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she won an Emmy and earned several additional nominations. Her nominated work includes coverage of the deadly mass shooting on the UNC Charlotte campus and stories honoring local deputies who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect their community. Before Charlotte, Chandler worked as an anchor and reporter in Columbus, Georgia. She also interned at Action News Jax sister station, WSB-TV, in Atlanta. Off the anchor desk, Chandler enjoys the thrills of Formula 1 racing and is a devoted Disney World fan. Don’t be surprised if you spot her at the beach searching for shark teeth and sea glass.
