Navy veteran completes 24-hour MaxiClimber challenge raising awareness for mental and sexual trauma

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Local Navy Veteran Michelle Poitier completed her challenge to spend 24 hours on a MaxiClimber.

Poitier started at 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 15 and finished at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16.

After completing the challenge Poitier had this message, “Follow your heart and act on what you are passionate about. You never know the lives you will impact.”

Poitier embarked on this challenge to raise awareness and funds for veterans battling mental health challenges and military sexual trauma.
