Meet Henry, the world’s oldest captive Nile crocodile

SCOTTBURH, South Africa — Henry is kept at the Crocworld Conservation Centre in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The crocodile arrived at the nature preserve in 1985, when he was already 85 years old.

Henry, weighing in at over 1,500 pounds, is currently living with six females and has fathered more than 10,000 babies during his time at Crocworld.
