Action News Jax first told about the launch of the program’s Social Connection, Food Security, Mental and Physical Promotion app last May. The app allows people to ask questions to experts including physicians, dieticians and psychologists. While the questions are anonymous, the public is able to see the responses from experts.

Program leaders say more than 100 people have utilized the app’s resources. People can also use the app for information about food pantries, health care and counseling.
