Local vigil to honor victims of LGBTQ club shooting in Colorado Springs

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — There will be a local vigil to honor the victims of the LGBTQ nightclub shooting in Colorado.

Five people were killed and 25 others were hurt after a gunman opened fire inside of Club Q in Colorado Springs on Saturday night.

The Jacksonville-based nonprofit organization Transgender Awareness Project , led by Paige Mahogany Parks, is inviting the public to honor the victims and offer support.

The local vigil is Saturday, November 26 at 6pm at Friendship Fountain located at 1015 Museum Circle Drive on the Southbank.
