Thanks to Robinson, New York is getting a former 1,000-yard rusher with a promising 2022 so far.

In Week 3 for the Jags, Robinson racked up 100-yards against the Los Angeles Chargers. Since then however, Travis Etienne has emerged as the Jaguars’ top back.

Having lost 4 in a row, Jacksonville is now getting at least a sixth-rounder for the former undrafted free agent.

Robinson’s stats so far this season:

  • Rushed for 340 yards
  • 3 touchdowns on 81 carries
  • 9 receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown.

The NFL states that Robinson will join Michael Carter in order to fill the vacancy left by Breece Hall, who is out for the season with a torn ACL.

Breece Hall’s stats so far this season:

  • Rushed for 463 yards
  • 4 touchdowns on 80 carries
  • 19 catches for 218 yards and a score this year.

Though he is not considered to be the “pass-catcher” or “game-breaker” Hall is, Robinson is considered to have great ability and proved in his rookie season that he can be a power house in a time of need.

Action Sports will have more information as the NFL continues its updates.
